600 Club Fall Singles Champion
Arryn won the 190 and Over division at the NCAUSBCA Youth 600 Club Fall Singles, qualifying first with 1,166 over five games and closing a clean 224 in the title match.
Tournament Overview
The 600 Club is an NCAUSBCA Youth tour open to bowlers who have shot a certified 600 series in the program, and its monthly singles events are all scratch: five games on the house shot, then a top-three stepladder. Entries split into an Under 190 division and a 190 and Over division, eleven and six bowlers respectively.
Arryn bowled the 190 and Over division at The Lanes Fort Meade and qualified first with 1,166, a 233.2 average and 166 pins over a 200 pace. Seth Baziluik and Misael Garcia took the other two ladder places. As top seed Arryn sat out the opening match, which Garcia came through to reach the final, and then won the title match 224 to 202.

How the Qualifying Went
He opened 234 and 225, then took the lead in the third round with a 255, the high game of his day. A 205 in the fourth was his only game under 225, and a 247 to close took him to 1,166.
Misael Garcia, the second qualifier, finished at 82 pins over a 200 pace, so Arryn went into the stepladder 84 clear of him, with Seth Baziluik third.

The Title Match
Neither bowler opened a frame until the fifth, where Garcia left a nine count and chopped the spare. That frame was the margin for most of the game: Arryn led by 23 after five and by 22 at the finish.
Arryn struck in the second, third and fourth, then spared six frames in a row before three strikes in the tenth. It was a clean game, six strikes and six spares, with no open frames.
Frame by Frame
Across the six games he struck on 44 of 68 chances, 64 percent, and averaged 9.38 pins on his first ball. Three of the six games were clean, and the day carried four open frames.
The spare game is what made the difference in the title match. He converted 19 of 20 makeable spares, 95.0 percent, including 12 of 13 single pins and all seven multi-pin spares. The three splits did not fall.
His best three games in a row were the 234, 225 and 255 that opened qualifying, a 714.
