City Tournament All-Events Champion
First in All-Events across singles, doubles, and team, a 2,228 scratch over nine games on the house shot at Bowl America Burke.
Tournament Overview
The Virginia Youth City Tournament ran two days at Bowl America Burke on a standard house shot, with singles and doubles on Saturday and the team event on Sunday. Arryn competed in all three disciplines and came out of the weekend as the All-Events champion.
His nine-game all-events scratch total of 2,228, a 247.6 average, paired big strike strings with the kind of clean, repeatable shotmaking that house conditions reward. He anchored a dominant team block, posted the day's strongest singles series, and held it together across both days.

Key Performance Highlights
2,228 scratch across nine games, a 247.6 average, first in All-Events for the tournament.
A 231-279-254 anchor series that drove a 2,628 scratch team block.
257-268-243 for the day's strongest singles, 813 with handicap.
768 singles, 696 doubles, 764 team, the high man in all three for his squad.
Why This Result Matters
Most of Arryn's season runs on demanding sport patterns, so a house-shot city tournament is a different test: the lanes give scoring back, and the separator becomes who can keep stringing strikes and stay clean while everyone else is also scoring. Winning All-Events here means he was the most productive bowler in the building across nine games and three formats.
It also showed his range. The same player who grinds out 201 averages on long sport patterns can turn around and average 247 on a house shot when the conditions allow it, anchoring a team and pacing a doubles pair along the way. That versatility, plus the leadership of carrying a squad, is exactly what translates to bigger local and state events.
