The Climb
Every event’s average, in the order he bowled them. The dashed lines are each season’s mean — the gap between them is the story.
Spares Converted
Conversion on leaves that were not splits, fill balls excluded — the same definition the scoring app uses, from the shot-by-shot record since February 2026. Splits are set aside rather than counted as misses: leaving one is a carry problem, and charging it to spare shooting counts the same shot against him twice. Hover a point for the raw figure and the split record. A bigger dot means more attempts, so a reading carries the weight of its sample. Earlier events have no dot because the record does not reach them — not because no spares were made.
Each point is one tournament, placed on the day it started and coloured by the result. Averages measure what each record says they measure — a qualifying average, an event average, a set average — and the label travels with the point.
